OCULUS RIFT
The Immersive Education
Initiative works to redefine our educational system with new digital
technologies and virtual aspects. In past week, IMMERSION 2015 has been chosen
as the official site that will take place in Paris, France. The guests and
speakers, mostly education and technology related professionals, will be
attending at the conference and discuss about many types of immersive
technologies. The specific date is expect to be announced in March.

Oculus Rift is a headset that encompasses the newly developed and advanced technologies that will enhance users experience to be seemed much more real. It is very mind-opening technological innovation. It is designed by gamers for gmaers with several of new technology that makes 3D gaming experience to another level.
Some of the features include
low latency 360 degree Head Tracking. The Oculus Rift headset uses custom
tracking technology and it provided “ultra-low latency” 360 dgree head
tracking. When you are wearing this headset, you will experience better and
realistic views inside the virtual world of gaming.
Also there is stereoscopic
3D View, in which the Rift makes a 3D view with “depth, scale, and parallax.”
It functions by displaying unique and parallel images in our view, in which
will be the same as what we see and perceive in the real world. I have not seen
any headsets with 3D view other than the Rift headset and I think this function
has a great merit that is very competitive product.
Moreover, it is very
wearable and affordable. In regards to its functions and advanced technologies
that the Rift possesses, it is very affordable. It is also very small and light
so that it is very mobile product. The gaming industry has developed
tremendously in the last few decades not only the quality of the game itself,
but also the advanced technology implanted in the product – including high
resolution and custom tracking technology as well as providing a wider field
view.
